This podcast is all about music. I put this together to maybe help you if you needed to DJ a party are you or working on your project. I just want to give back. I use various instruments, everything is hardware. Alesis QS-6 synthesizer, Roland D-20, Akai Xr-20, BOSS DR-5,BOSS DR-202,Alesissr18,Behringer 16 track,Roland VT-4 vocoder. I was mixing the BOSS DR-5. With some other instruments and came up with this. I had to program the bass then add the Drum Beats with the song. But midi still works.

I was just thinking about it today. And I said I might as well mix the BOSS DR-5 in midi with my Drum Machines and synthesizers. So that I can make the Drum machines become my turntables. I was using the synchronization method. It,s about midi notes and a midi clock. I was thinking about when I first got to New York in the 80,s and hearing House Music from the radio stations 98.7 KISS and WBLS 107.5.

I was mixing my Alesis sr-18 Techno and jungle beats together in sync with my Roland 303 Groovebox. The 303 is in slave mode. And the Alesis sr-18 is the master.

Just going back in time a little bit. I went back to some songs and beats I did with the Akai XR-20 and BOSS DR-202. So I am doing a lot of improvised mixing. Music was made in a midi production type of environment. I am using equipment that came out over 20 years ago. It,s just about making music and Electronic Drumming.

I am just mixing in some Latin Grooves from the Drum Machines. I have one as the Lead and the other Drum machines play the extra percussion and keyboard. What I am saying is that it is in midi. The Main Drum Machine is in Master mode and the other Drum machines play in sync.

I have been working on the Roland VT-4 Vocoder. Excellent instruments to play around with or get serious about. This is one of those days I feel like playing some Old School G-funk Music from the Roland 303 Groovebox.

I had put everything in song mode and started Mixing. I do not have 2 turntables anymore so I have to use my 16-track mixer to do my fades. The music was produced with the Alesis sr-18, Akai XR-20, and Yamaha keyboard. I kind of mixed in different styles today because I am in one of those moods.

I got a mixture of Techno Mixed with some House. Then I got some reggae that I throw in at the End. I am just trying to give back to my people. Never know what might happen. But at least you will hear the songs that I put together for me and you. If you can Dig it.

The first part of this is not G-Funk But some regular beats I mixed. But in the last part, I got some G-Funk in this podcast. I called it cruising through the hood because that is what I do. when you cruising you see everything, people trying to survive. people on Dope. People just got out of jail. We living in some not-so-good times. But we got to keep pressing on.
