I have been having this Roland 303 Groovebox Since around 2000. I started mixing the machine with my DJ Mixer. Then I started hooking up multiple keyboards and Drum machines to my mixer. The main grove tonight was from the BOSS DR-5. The midi output from the boss goes to a 4-way midi splitter. The instrument in use is the Alesis qs-6 synthesizer for extra bass. Roland D-20 for keys. Akai XR-20,BOSS DR202,Alesis SR-18 for Drums.

I mixed in a lot of music that came out a long time ago. I got these preset patterns that I remixed. I have a groove that was written by Sade, Called Taboo. It was on this BOSS DR-5 in the Soul session of the machine. I just used the midi out to other synthesizers to make it sound more like a band. So this whole session is just a bunch of improvised grooves I made and remixed. As of Nov 22, 2022, I just cut the main part of this mix. I had Sade on here, but I had too much reverb on the song. I should have listened more before releasing it. So I will redo the song and make it better.

1 of those nights I am Mixing preset patterns from the Alesis SR-18. The Drum Beats go to another Drum machine, which is the Akai XR-20. The other Drum Sounds is coming from a BOSS DR-5 Drum Machine. That Drum machine has some excellent guitar sounds. Of course, the device has to be improvised. I make these grooves so that you can play along if you like. I really don,t care.
